The Story Behind the Work
A personal letter from the Founder of GoSoulve
Every piece of work carries a story.
Mine began long before GoSoulve existed.
It began in conversations—with workers navigating difficult conditions, with farmers adapting to changing realities, with women rebuilding confidence, with communities seeking opportunities, and most importantly, with myself.
For over fifteen years, I have worked across India as a social impact professional, researcher, trainer, facilitator, and consultant. My work has taken me into factories, farms, villages, classrooms, boardrooms, and community spaces, conducting Human Rights Impact Assessments, social audits, research studies, stakeholder consultations, and capacity-building initiatives.
Across these diverse spaces, I have had the privilege of listening to hundreds of stories—stories of resilience, ambition, struggle, hope, and change. Working closely with workers, farmers, community members, managers, and organizational leaders has taught me that behind every policy, process, and performance indicator are people.
And meaningful change always begins with people.
This understanding has shaped not only the work I do, but the way I do it.
Alongside my professional journey, I have always been drawn to questions of identity, human behaviour, and personal transformation. This curiosity eventually led me to become an Identity Coach, helping individuals reconnect with their values, strengths, and authentic selves.
Professionally, many know me as Chathuri C Mohan. Others know me as Chathuri Chandrageetha—the writer, storyteller, podcaster, theatre practitioner, and identity coach.
For a long time, I viewed them as different paths. Today, these identities are no longer separate.
Each has shaped the other.
Together, they have helped me develop a more human-centred approach to consulting, research, facilitation, and training.
That realization became GoSoulve.
Through GoSoulve, I bring together expertise in social impact, ethical business practices, research, training, facilitation, and human development to help organizations and individuals create meaningful, sustainable change.
Beyond my professional work, I am an author, theatre practitioner, filmmaker, lifelong learner, and host of the podcast Unapologetic—a space where real beats the ideal.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
When people understand themselves better, they work better, lead better, collaborate better, and build stronger communities.
And when organizations understand communities better, they create more meaningful and lasting impact.
That, in many ways, is the story behind the work.
